Who this is about

Ancient Path Revivals is a ministry based in Macomb, Missouri, in the United States.

This page describes what this website does with information about the people who visit it. It covers the website only — gatherings, correspondence and anything you tell us in person are not covered here.

If you would like to ask about anything below, write to info@ancientpathrevivals.com.

What we hold

What the site collects

When you send us a message. The contact form asks for your name, your email address, your message, and optionally what it is about. All of that is stored in our database so we can read it and reply. We also record the IP address the message came from, and use it for one thing only: limiting how many messages a single source can send in an hour.

When you join the newsletter. The signup form asks for your email address and, if you want to give them, your first and last name. We store the same details ourselves and send them to MailerLite, who run the mailing list. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing there is enough — you do not need to ask us as well.

When you submit music. The music submission form asks for the artist or band name, a contact name and email address, links to where we can hear your work, and anything you want to tell us about it. It is stored in our database so we can listen and reply. Sending it is not a commitment either way: nothing is published from that form, and an artist page is only ever created by hand afterwards.

When you confirm you are a person. All three forms use Cloudflare Turnstile. Your browser loads a small script from Cloudflare, and when you submit the form your IP address and a single-use token are sent to Cloudflare so it can confirm the submission was not automated.

Nothing else. No other part of this site asks you for anything. There are no accounts and no sign-in for visitors.

How long

How long we keep it

Messages you send

Kept for 180 days from the day they arrive, then deleted.

Deleting them is done by an administrator rather than on a timer, so a message may sit a little past that date before it is actually removed. If that matters to you, ask us and we will remove it straight away.

Newsletter signups

Our own copy is kept for 30 days and then deleted — MailerLite holds the list itself, for as long as you stay subscribed.

If a signup has not reached MailerLite yet, our copy is kept until it has, because at that point it is the only record that you asked to join.

Music submissions

Kept for a year from the day they arrive, then deleted — long enough to listen properly, come back to something, and talk it over.

Ask us sooner and we will remove it sooner.

Records about administrators

The handful of people who edit this site have their name and email address stored so they can sign in, and their edits are recorded so the ministry can see who changed what. That record includes the IP address the change came from. This is about ministry volunteers, not visitors.

Records kept by our host

This site runs on Cloudflare, which keeps its own short-term records of requests as part of running and protecting the service. Those are Cloudflare's records rather than ours, and we do not control how long they are held.

Everything else

There is nothing else. We do not keep records of who visited, what they read, or how long they stayed, because we do not collect any of it.

Who else

Who else receives anything

Cloudflare. This site is hosted on Cloudflare, so every request to it passes through their network. Cloudflare also provides the Turnstile check described above.

MailerLite. If you join the newsletter, your email address and any name you gave are sent to MailerLite, who run the mailing list and send the emails. They are the only company we pass anything to, and we send them nothing about anyone who has not signed up.

Links that leave this site. Giving goes to Stripe. The outreach page links to an Amazon wish list and a MyRegistry gift list. Fellowship Finder is a separate service at ff.ancientpathrevivals.com. Our YouTube, Facebook and Instagram pages sit on those companies' own sites. Once you follow any of those links you are on someone else's service, under their privacy policy rather than ours — and we are not told that you clicked.

Nothing else. The typefaces, stylesheets and images this site uses are served from this website itself. Your browser is not asked to fetch anything from anyone else while you read a page.

We do not sell, rent or trade information about you, and we do not share it with anyone beyond what is described on this page.

What we do not do

What this site does not do

  • No analytics. There is no analytics service on this site. No tracking pixels, no advertising, no measuring of visits or page views. We genuinely do not know how many people read this page.
  • No cookies of our own. The public pages set none. Administrators signing in to the private admin area receive a cookie from Cloudflare Access as part of signing in; visitors receive nothing.
  • No accounts. Nothing on the public site asks you to register. If registered for an event, you will be asked to create a guest account to access event portals.
  • No uploads. Every photograph and file on the site was put there by an administrator. Visitors cannot upload anything.

Your say

Asking to see or delete what we hold

Write to info@ancientpathrevivals.com and tell us what you would like removed. If you have sent a message through the site, saying roughly when will help us find it.

We will delete it and tell you when it is done. There is no form to fill in and nothing to prove — if you ask, we remove it.

Ancient Path Revivals is based in the United States. If you are writing from the United Kingdom or the European Union, the same applies: tell us what you want removed and we will remove it.

Questions about any of this?

Write and ask. We would rather answer a question than leave you wondering.
